Government Technical High School (Magway) was opened on May 5, 2009.
Government Technical High School (Magway) offers six major courses: Building Technology, Electronic Technology, Electrical Technology, Auto Mechanics Technology ,Information Technology and Machining Technology, as well as short-term training in collaboration with international and local organization.

Government Technical High School (Magway) is located in Magway Region, adjacent to Technological University(Magway) near Kanbya Village, next to Magway-Yenanchaung Road and covers an area of 11.23 acres.
School Support and Services
Regular Two-year students have been paid a monthly stipend of 30000 kyats during the academic year.
Future Opportunities after Graduation
Those who have graduated from Government Technical High Schools will be able to work in factories, start their own businesses with skills, and work in government departments. Local and Foreign companies have also linked up with the schools for their jobs. The outstanding students can join Government Technical Institutes.
